Urban Development Committee
The Urban Development Committee deals with planning issues, business policy, growth, urban development, etc. The Urban Development Committee usually meets every third Tuesday.

Committee for Growth and Learning
The Education Committee decides on the principles and general guidelines to be followed in the education sector. The committee governs, supervises and manages the education system. Cultural and leisure issues also fall under this category.
The Education Committee usually meets once a month.

The Building and Environment Committee is the building inspection authority referred to in Section 21 of the Land Use and Building Act and the environmental protection authority in the municipality referred to in the Act on Municipal Environmental Protection Administration,
